I’m Adesh, and I’ll keep sharing everything I learn from the digital world to help you grow — with honesty, creativity, and real value.
👉 YouTube will stop paying for reused, AI, or copied content from July 15, 2025. Only original, quality videos will be eligible for monetisation going forward.
I’ve been working in digital marketing since 2010. And I’ve seen how fast the internet world has changed — especially YouTube.
Back in 2010, YouTube was very different. It was a fun, open space where people could upload anything — vlogs, tutorials, funny videos, or music covers — and they could easily grow their channel. No big rules. No fancy tools. Just a camera, an idea, and real creativity.
Some creators were making millions of subscribers, views, and even real income from their content.
But over the years, things changed. And not all of it was for the better.
What Went Wrong on YouTube? 😕
As more people joined YouTube, the race to make quick money started. Many creators stopped focusing on quality and started looking for shortcuts.
Here’s what became common:
-
Reposting movie scenes or viral clips
-
AI voice videos with no real effort
-
Fake celebrity videos using deepfake
-
Copying someone else’s idea or script
-
Slideshows with boring or low-value information
People started using tools to make 10+ videos in a day — without creating anything original.
As a result, real creators — who work hard and make honest content — were getting pushed down. That’s not fair, right?
That’s why YouTube is finally saying: Enough!
What’s Changing from July 15, 2025? 📅
YouTube has announced a new update to its YouTube Partner Program (YPP). This will affect who can earn money from their videos.
From July 15, 2025, only creators who upload original and high-quality content will be allowed to make money.
So, if someone is:
🚫 Re-uploading videos from movies, TV, or other YouTubers
🚫 Creating simple reaction videos with no effort
🚫 Making AI-generated slideshows or copy-paste content
🚫 Using deepfake or fake voiceovers
They will no longer get monetisation.

Why Is YouTube Doing This? 🎯
YouTube says this change is to protect the real creators and stop people from misusing the platform.
Here’s what YouTube shared:
“YouTube is taking steps to protect its creator ecosystem by prioritising authentic voices and meaningful content.” — YouTube Support Team
In simple words: YouTube wants real people to get rewards — not those using tricks to make money.
What Type of Content Will Be Allowed? ✅
YouTube will now prefer videos that:
-
Teach something useful (educational content)
-
Share personal stories or original ideas
-
Are made with your own video and voice
-
Give real entertainment — not just copy-paste
-
Add value to the viewer’s time
If your video gives learning, laughter, or real insight, you’re on the right path.
Who Can Still Earn on YouTube? 💰
The basic rules for joining the YouTube Partner Program remain the same:
-
You need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months
OR -
You need 10 million valid Shorts views in the last 90 days
But now, YouTube will check more deeply if your videos are original. Even if you meet the numbers, you won’t be accepted if your content is copied, repeated, or made with AI only.

Many big YouTubers and experts are happy about this change. Here’s what some of them shared:

If You’re a New Creator, Here’s My Advice 🌱
If you’re just starting your YouTube journey — don’t be scared by these changes. In fact, this is great news for you.
You don’t need expensive gear. You just need:
-
Your own ideas
-
Your real voice
-
Your story or experience
-
A plan to add value to the viewer
🎥 Make tutorials from your personal experience
🎥 Share honest reviews or thoughts
🎥 Tell stories in your own way
🎥 Make DIY videos showing your hands and skills
🎥 Share what you know — don’t fake it
Remember: YouTube is rewarding honesty and effort.
AI is Not the Enemy — But It’s Not the Creator ✋
I use AI tools every day in marketing. They help save time, improve editing, and fix grammar. But creating full AI videos — with robot voices and stolen scripts — is not content creation.
AI can help you — but it can’t replace your brain or your heart. And now YouTube agrees.
My Honest Thoughts 🧡
This policy is like a reset button.
It will remove spam and junk from YouTube — and bring back the focus on real people, real ideas, and real value.
If you were tired of seeing copycat channels getting rich while your original videos struggled — this is your time.
Build slowly. Be real. Share your knowledge. Talk like a friend.
And most importantly — don’t give up.
Let’s Create Content That Matters 🙌
I’ve been in this digital space for over 14 years. I’ve seen platforms rise and fall. But one thing never changes — people love real stories from real voices.
If you want to stay on YouTube long-term, forget tricks. Build trust.
This update from YouTube is your signal to:
✨ Start fresh
✨ Focus on quality
✨ And show the world what you can really do
